VOICES FROM THE PARTNERSHIP

Why we signed.

  • "The Shared Public Commitment reminds us that, while we may come from many backgrounds, we can certainly agree on the basic values that guide us forward. We are diverse, and we are equal. By affirming these shared rights and aspirations, we strengthen a community where everyone feels safe, respected, and accepted."

  • "As the daughter of immigrants, I know how deeply fear and uncertainty can shape a family's sense of safety and belonging. To see these shared commitments is powerful — they are more than words, they are a recognition that our community sees us and stands with us. That kind of support changes what feels possible for families like mine and the community I serve. It reminds us that we are not alone."
